We're a Church of God in Christ family in the heart of Jackson, Mississippi — gathered around the Word, lifted in Spirit-filled worship, and sent to serve our city.

Davis Temple has long been a spiritual home in the heart of Jackson — a place where the community is served, the discouraged are lifted, and lives are changed through a genuine journey with Christ.
As part of the Church of God in Christ under District 14, we hold to the historic faith while keeping our arms open to the neighborhood around us. That's the heart behind our promise: you won't leave like you came.

Larry Weems
For many years, Superintendent Larry Weems has led Davis Temple with a shepherd's heart — serving the Jackson community and encouraging others through a life-changing journey in Christ. He serves as Superintendent of District 14, and his ministry reaches well beyond these walls.

Come as you are
No dress code, no pressure. Whether it's your first Sunday or your fiftieth, you belong here.
Two gatherings
Sunday School at 9:00 AM, Morning Worship at 10:00 AM. Come to one or stay for both.
